Team Essentials is a highly practical, one-day, open introduction to building and developing better teams.

Why do this?

You are new in role. You are short on time. You want a framework and set of tools to help you build, lead, and develop your team. You want to meet peers from other organisations.

Who is this for?

Team Essentials is ideal for new team leaders, as well as for established leaders looking to refresh their team leadership knowledge and skills.

While this is an open programme, feel free to book multiple places for your organisation. You may of course prefer to book out a whole programme on dates and venues that best suit you.

How does it work?

Ahead of our day together, we will send you a team effectiveness questionnaire. This will introduce you to our 5-Element Team Effectiveness Framework and help you “audit” your team(s).

During our day together we will explore each of the 5-Elements and help you identify and commit to a set of self-led workplace actions:

  • Situations. Teams operate within a wider, ever-changing context. You need to understand and track this.
  • Foundations. Are you a team, or something else? What have your principal stakeholders established you to do? What kind of environment have you created to enable this?
  • Aspirations. What kind of team do you need to become? What does the development journey look like?
  • Operations. Your team only delivers great impact when colleagues work well together and with stakeholders to deliver on collective goals.
  • Integrations. Your team is only as effective as its value-adding relationships with other teams inside and outside the business!

We’ll check in with you 4 weeks later to see how you got on with your workplace actions and explore any further support you might need. For example, you may want to consider the Team Leader Support and/or Team Elevate programmes.

Team Essentials can also be offered as a bespoke in-house programme on dates and at venues of your choice.

£1,250.00 + VAT per person.
