Context
Our prices reflect the experience and expertise of the people we place at your service.
We are a network of highly experienced leaders, most with at least one career in a high consequence profession such as hospital medicine, special forces, serious crime (as in detecting, not committing!), high altitude expeditions, improvisation performance, and more.
We are all also highly experienced coaches, facilitators, and consultants who have invested heavily in continuous professional development over many decades. Many of us are educated to Masters level in a relevant leadership development discipline.
We bring insights and learning from the work we do nationally and internationally under the Fresh Air Leadership brand and the other brands our associates work for.

Venues
We will recommend venues that will best support our work together.
We ask you to manage payment directly with the venue provider.
Place is a super-important ingredient in the design of the work we will do together. It significantly impacts the way you and colleagues will think and engage with one another.
Deposits
We ask for a non-returnable 50% deposit.
When we agree to work together, our associates commit to your project and make themselves unavailable for any other work.
A deposit mitigates their loss of earnings if you have to cancel/reschedule the project. It also covers preparatory work e.g. liaison, recce, risk assessment, design, production of materials etc.
Overhead charges
As with any business, we have overheads that need to be covered:
Direct overheads associated with each project (e.g. expenses, materials, equipment, printing etc.).
Indirect overheads associated with running the business (e.g. insurances, marketing, IT, subscriptions etc…).
We will charge direct overheads at cost and include a contribution in our pricing towards indirect business overheads.
Expenses
We will provide you with an estimate of expenses in advance.
We will charge you on an actuals basis.

TEAM EFFECTIVENESS ACCELERATOR PROGRAMME
You need a powerful team development programme.
Perhaps you are a scaling business and need to create the alignment you enjoyed when there were only a few of you. Perhaps you are merging and need to spin up the effectiveness of what is effectively a new leadership team. Or the business is re-setting and you need the top team to re-discover its collective mojo!

This involves a DISCOVERY phase featuring engagement with the team leader to frame the “big question” that will guide the inquiry process, and via questionnaire with team members to create an initial assessment of team effectiveness.
Next is the DEVELOP phase which features two days of workshp activity to develop a Team Charter, Operating Model, and Development Roadmap.
And finally a DRIVE phase where colleagues implement and learn from the priority workplace actions identified during the workshops.
Depending on your team’s size this can be a significant piece of work. Questionnaire analysis, your team’s size and the nature of the issues you need to explore will also inform the size of the team we provide.
Prices start from £4,950.00 plus reasonable expenses plus VAT.
TEAM WORKSHOP
You want support for an important team or stakeholder conversation.
For example, a project kick-off event to discover and align stakeholders’ needs. Perhaps, you want to focus on team foundations by exploring and redefining purpose, values, and behaviours. Maybe an onboarding event following recent hires. You may want a red team event to challenge the assumptions underpinning a strategy or plan, and support to identify the further possible options available from this.
We will conduct a discovery phase with you to understand the “big question” that will guide the design and delivery of the event. We will also engage with participants to understand their perspectives, hopes, and fears. We will then deliver your event to achieve the outcomes and any hard outputs agreed in our discussions with you.
Depending on your team’s size this can be a significant piece of work. Questionnaire analysis, your team’s size and the nature of the issues you need to explore will also inform the size of the team we provide.
Prices start from £2,950 plus reasonable expenses plus VAT.
TEAM CONNECTION DAY
You want a one-off team connection event with little or no formal facilitation.
The emphasis is on spending time together in the outdoors, immersed in amazing scenery, and in the safe hands of national governing body qualified, experienced, and insured outdoor leaders.
We can offer these in walking, gravel biking, and canoe formats. We can also combine formats to provide a truly memorable day out together.
We work on the basis of one qualifed leader per client group of 8.
Prices start from £1,450.00 plus equipment hire charges plus reasonable expenses plus VAT.
COACHING, MENTORING, THINKING PARTNERSHIPS
We offer FREE online “chemistry meetings” with up to three candidate coaches to help you decide on who may best meet your needs.
Coaching is contracted in blocks of 3 sessions of 60 or 90 minutes with reasonable overrun as agreed by you and coach to enable sessions to conclude well.
- One block of 3 x online 60 minute sessions = £1,200 + VAT
- One block of 3 x online 90 minute sessions = £1,800 + VAT
- In-person sessions are charged at an additional £300 + travel expenses + VAT.
We ask for full payment in advance. Our experience is that this incentivises commitment to the coaching process.
If our work together enables you to achieve the outcomes you seek before the block is complete we will refund the unused balance.
